The company was founded in 1995 by master watchmaker Roger Dubuis in collaboration with designer Carlos Dias.

In its first year, RogerDubuis demonstrated its vitality by launching a collection of timepieces that set off a new trend in the world of fine watchmaking.

Striking a precise balance between traditional watchmaking techniques and avant-garde design, the brand soon earned a reputation as an expert in the field with its architecturally beautiful skeletonized movements, and was one of the first watch brands to realize the "Big Four" complications in just ten years.
